do I need to pump n dump?

I've been sick since Monday and it's a very nasty asthmatic bronchitis, something I've gotten somewhat regularly throughout my life.  Last night I slept in a different room (sitting up) and went back to my bedroom whenever I heard DS wake to nurse him.  Thank goodness I WOH so he's still going to daycare and I'm taking sick days.  This morning I took some Nyquil in desperation.  It helped, but do I need to dump whatever I've pumped now?  Can I take it again tonight, when he'll be nursing?  He's 7 months and I'm coughing often enough/hard enough that the Nyquil does not put me in a deep sleep, it just allows me to actually get some sleep.  I'm not worried about supply YET.

Also - is there a 'safe' amount of Mucinex?  I've been taking the regular strength and it isn't doing anything.  Before pregnancy/baby I would take the maximum strength one, sometimes more often than recommended.  I get bronchitis THAT bad.  It's the gagging/can't breathe kind of coughing :(
