Let's play "Guess This Pain!"

I have a call in to my doctor's office and I'm waiting for a call back from the nurse about this but in the meantime, does anyone want to play "Guess This Pain!"?????? lol.gif

Starting about 3 hours ago, I will get a sharp pain across the front of my abdomen. It goes from the left side to the right side and only lasts for a split second. It feels more surface than internal. It is in the same place every time, which is about halfway between my bellybutton and my pubic bone. Kind of right where my underwear band is. It has happened frequently and infrequently in the past three hours. I've been drinking water since it started and it doesn't appear to have an effect on them. Oh and I'm 20 weeks pregnant.

So what is? Random muscle spasm? Braxton Hicks? Something worse????

Round ligament pain!!  It is often noticed in very early pregnancy and then again in the 20-25 week area.  Your uterus is getting heavy, mama.  Feel better!!

Well you are right! The nurse called me back and asked me some questions and her determination was that it was round ligament pain. I always expected that sort of pain to run down towards my legs not across my belly. But she said since DH and I had DTD yesterday morning, it probably shifted some stuff around and that's what caused the pain. They haven't started up again this morning so hopefully everything has settled down!
