Looking for a OB/GYN in Coachella Valley

I'm 22 and I've never ever been to see an ob/gyn before, and me and my husband have been ttc for about 6 months now with no luck, so I figure its time to see one. I'm hoping to get a preconception check up just to make sure everything is fine. I'm just not sure what I'm going to be looking for an a doctor. I've done some research and have read a lot of good reviews about Gary Bernard, so I'm really considering him but I'm open for suggestions. My friend just had a baby and she had a doctor that turned her away when she was first pregnant and told her to come back when she was further along, so I really don't want to end up with a doctor like that.

Sorry that I am just now seing this. I LOVE Bernard. LOVE HIM! He was very encouraging during my second birth. He is very supportive of natural birth and breastfeeding. He lowers the lights in the birthing room and puts the baby right on your bare chest afterwards and to the breast. He is also very gentle. Love him to death.
