baby kimono tops?

Hello!

I want to make old t-shirts into 12mo size baby kimono or side-tie tops, short sleeve or long sleeve.

Has anyone done this?

I need a reaaalllly easy pattern because I'm sew-phobic and am a total beginner.

I cannot find any side-tie shirts for older babies that are not ridiculously expensive :(

this is a kimono nightgown..looks like it can be made shorter for a top...going to try it with an old tshirt
