Hey mama's,

My 5 year old got sick last Friday and had a fever till Monday night. It fluctuated between 99-104 (she has always gotten higher fevers). She developed a cough as well (she usually gets a cough when she gets a cold, which are usually worse at night). She's been coughing a lot yesterday and today and her fever returned this morning, it was 99 and I've been monitoring it, last check was 102. She is fine, a little tired but seems okay. Has anyone had experience with a child being sick this long and a fever returning? She has never been sick this long, it was a pretty typical illness for her until the fever returned. My younger ds got the same cold, too, but is basically better now, except for the occasional cough and runny nose

Oh, her appetite is fine and she had a little softer than normal bm today.
I rely on herbals/homeopathics, but I'm just a little nervous as this has never happened before.
I plan on calling the doctor in the morning if she doesn't seem better.

Thanks for any opinions,
Michelle
