Sex?? - Page 2

My friend insists it's a girl, my dad is insisting it's a boy. My mother in law keeps saying she hopes we have a girl, but she says it in a really mean/vindictive way. (I loathe the color pink and all things frilly, so it is with malicious glee that she says she hopes we have a super girlie girl.)

I'm really hoping for a boy. I have endo and I really don't want to pass that on. I don't have any sense of the baby's gender though.

Lazuli....my mom had enodmetriosus (?) really bad, she had a partial hysterctomy by the time she was 26, and a full one at 31. I am now 28, and I have NO problems. I have had several cysts, but nothing big. She was also worried about passing it on, but as far as me and my sister go, she hasn't....

Thanks...his name is Jackson Henry.

Jackson has been my picked boys name for two babies now, and Henry is my dh's grandfathers middle name. We are hoping Great Grandpa will be able to stick around loung enough to meet this baby, but I think he will be happy just knowing that the baby is named after him...

I'm pretty certain I'm carrying a boy, not only because of our statistical chances from having done IUI with frozen sperm but also because of the attitude with which I was raised regarding boys... some sort of karma thing

Jo thinks that the fact that we keep hearing Billy Joel on the radio points to it being a girl since our girl name is Alexa (got name from Billy Joel song).

We are going for an u/s tomorrow but do not want to find out the sex of the baby because we need at least one surprise in this pregnancy!!

I'm having some pretty strong "boy" feelings lately, but I had strong girl feelings with ds for about 6 months, then suddenly realized I didn't have a clue. With DD, I KNEW she was a girl all along. About a month or so before I got pregnant this time, I had this sense of a little boy hanging out somewhere in my consciousness. We aren't finding out until the birth, but there are days when I really want to know! But I love the idea of giving birth and just looking into the baby's face without knowing for a few moments what the sex is. We actually had an ultrasound with dd, because of low birth weight issues with ds, but she didn't reveal herself as "she," and in the end I loved the surprise, even though it wasn't a complete surprise.

getting a vibe....

Well now that i know I am not carrying twins I feel more certain that I am having a BOY. Just a hunch.... i would "rather" have a girl but am feeling more connected to the feeling of having a son. I am glad that we didn't find out sex at our u/s. the other day. Am looking forward to being surprised.

Just curious...

Anybody changed their minds?.... Found out for sure?....

Personally, I'm waffling on the issue. I'm more comfortable with the idea of a son than I was originally. (I've wanted a girl from the beginning) Jerome is adamant that he thinks it is a boy, that's his story and he's stickin to it! I however keep changing my mind... could be a boy... could be a girl....

Last weekend Jerome was playing with one of my dad's dogs near me and every time he said "Good Boy" the baby kicked me. It was pretty weird!

I've had boy dreams and girl dreams... and have been trying to ask the baby if it likes any of the names we have picked out... i think maybe there has been more response to one name in particular... BUT. We'll see!

Oh I have been so torn. With my first I KNEW she was a girl from the very very beginning, dreamt about a litle red haired girl almost every night, and there she was! Well, auburn hair...

Now, I just don't know. I have been feeling boy quite a bit, up until the last week or two. Lately I have been thinking girl. And weird things have happened like people I do't even know asking me when my dd's sister will be born, and oh it will be so nice for you to have two girls...etc...???

But I never dream about the baby, the two times I did it was a boy. SOOOO, I guess I am going to say boy. But I may come back and change that...heeheehee

We should also do a poll about how long we think our labors will be, and on what date, to see who is the closest...
