5 point harness recs for 40+ pound kid. Cheap if possible, please!

Hi there. We have a second car that DH drives. The majority of the time DD is not in that car- maybe once every week or two. We have a Cosco Scenera in there but DD just passed 40 pounds, so that's the seat limit for that.

In our main car we have a Marathon (for DS) and a Radian 80 (for DD). I can find plenty of expensive 5 pt harness boosters that are 40 plus, but not any less expensive ones. I will not put her in a belt booster so we'll spend what we have to, but we would like to spend less, of course, as $ is tight.

Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Your cheapest option is going to be the Evenflo Maestro at around $80.

The Evenflo Maestro is a nice seat...we have it also as a back up seat for DHs car.  Our son really likes it just as much as his main carseat which is the Graco nautilus.  The harness straps on the maestro just like the nautilus so that is nice if your LO is on the taller side...but it does only harness to 50 pounds.  It also makes an okay belt booster.  is iiiiiii
