Anyone *not* feeling baby a lot yet?

I'm not due until the 29 of August but I'm not feeling the baby move much at all. *maybe* once a day if I'm lucky.

I hear all of you talking about feeling kicks and such and I'm getting nervous! Anyone else not feeling much?

Oh, thank you for posting this. I am in the same boat as you. Due August 31 - I *have* felt the baby move, but it seems to me as though I go for a long time (even more than a day?) between feeling movements.

I am going to request an 18-week ultrasound to calm my mind (er, hopefully). My midwife is supposed to call me back today with an appointment time.

Anyone else?!

my MW called and in our conversation she said she wouldn't expect me to feel the baby move much before 20 weeks. We scheduled an u/s for this upcoming Monday but I think things are fine!

I'm sure I'm just being paranoid. LOL

I have an appt. next Thursday and then my one u/s on the 14th. I really don't want to have an u/s but it was a compromise for my dh.

Oh! And I did feel some hiccups this afternoon!!

baby movement

Hi,
I just posted a very similar message somewhere else. I am 20 weeks and 5 days and I can't be certain that I have felt the baby move yet. I had a detailed ultrasound at 20 weeks 2 days and baby was moving in there, good size with all the right anatomy. So, my baby is fine...but I don't think I have felt him yet (we are expecting a son!). The ultrasound technician said that lots of women don't feel the baby at this point because it is too small still. Also, this is my first pregnancy and I don't really know what to look for. Maybe it depends on the size of the mother. I am a 6ft tall woman, about 180 lbs pre-pregnancy....195lbs now and still gaining?
But, don't worry necessarily because I know my baby is fine and moving and I still haven't felt him.

I'm due around 8-23 and only the past week have I been feeling a LOT of movement. I was a little worried too but now I know he is moving just fine.

Hope your little ones starts nudging you more and giving you some peace of mind. It's so hard worrying about these things.

I had an ultrasound today - at 18 weeks 5 days - baby is there, moving fine. My placenta is in front - I think that is why I have not been feeling much movement. Such a wonderful sight to see that little face, those little hands and feet, that little heart beating!
