DS started walking today. Is that all it takes to be considered a toddler? He'll be 1 this month.

I was wondering if anyone had some book recs for the toddler years. I found "The Secret Lives of Toddlers" at the library today- anyone read it? I've been reading a few of the past posts and I'm not sure how I feel about the next few years!

Too funny! I was watching DD2 waddle around the kitchen this morning (she'll be 1 this month, too) and I thought--"Oh! I guess she's kind of just about a toddler now. I should check into the toddler forum on MDC." 

Don't be apprehensive about the toddler years. Personally, I think they're awesome. I'll miss my babe-in-arms, especially because she's most likely my last, but if memory serves from my older daughter, toddler-hood is the best. Of course, moving from one stage to another is always bittersweet, but you'll have a lot of fun with your little toddling guy!
