Measuring ahead?

So I'm measuring 3 + weeks ahead, per an ultrasound I had on Friday (I'm 32w today). I was also measuring this far ahead at my 24 week ultrasound (have had to have a couple of level 2's because of enlarged kidney, but that should be ok and no big deal...).

This babe's a boy - my girls were 7lb 11oz (dd1) and 7lb 5oz (dd2). Per the ultrasound, he's over 5lbs already. I know ultrasounds are notoriously inaccurate, but given I've had two that say about the same thing, I'm thinking it might be close to being relatively accurate. My dates are good as well - though I did have a chemical pregnancy the month before testing positive with this one - tested negative for sure after the chem preg. I'm wondering if I ovulated way early, though - maybe right after I lost the first one. My early ultrasound (9 weeks) only had a one day variance from my LMP due date.

I'm also borderline glucose intolerant, so have been eating carefully and testing glucose levels daily. All my levels are considerably under the appropriate thresholds.

Any other mamas with this type of experience? How big did your babe end up? Did you go early?

I measured ahead in fundal measurement using the tape measure with my daughter starting at around 32 wks  before that i meaured right on in terms of weeks. At 32wks i measured 35wks and at 35wks i measured 40wks. I was told if i still measured ahead like that at my next appointment they'd do a ultrasound to find out why the big jump. My daughter had other plans she was born the day that would had been my next appointment. At 35wks6days she was born weighing in at 7lbs 13oz 20". I didn't have my dates wrong at all like they tried saying because of her weight.

Have they measured your fluid levels?

I measured on target until around 32 weeks and then got progressively larger (although the baby measured ahead in US, my fundal measurements were always right on).  By 40 weeks I was 46 weeks by fundal.  I was on the very high end of normal for fluid, for whatever random reason (had a great glucose screening result BTW).

Having that much fluid actually stalled labor for me and he was born closer to 42 weeks.  He's super healthy, my midwife thinks it was just a fluke for whatever reason.

Thanks, SoCaliMommy and finnegansmom.

The said my fluid looked "great" and my fundal height thus far has been measuring right on.

So far, it's just the ultrasound of the baby showing I'm "ahead."

Update for any who find this after searching - baby was born 1 week early, 8 lbs 4 oz - good sized, but certainly not huge!
