Thrift Store Find Brag Thread!

Okay, this is my favorite thread to start in this forum.  biggrinbounce.gif

There are so many sad threads, here's some happy brain candy!

So, I found at the local upscale consignment shop...

Holtziger Dinosaurs & Animals, NWTs! - $2.99 to $5.99.  Wow.  I was floored.  And I'm not ashamed to admit there were a few in there that the tags had fallen off into the basket and I picked up the $2.99 tags to go with them when maybe it should have been a $5.99 tag, but no one noticed, so I don't feel so bad.  Sheepish.gif

I got a bunch of dinosaurs for the boys' easter baskets.  Fun.  I'm not even sure they're that cheap on co op, I can't remember.  So awesome.

What did you find lately?

The other day I found six new Denby mugs for 69 cents each.  I'll probably get at least $10 each for them on Ebay.  Whee!

I got ds Land's End snowpants for next year for $4.99 and I got my 16 month old niece a nice wood train stacking toy for $.99.  My niece particularly enjoyed the shoebox that the train was in, lol.

my goodwill center is sooo expensive for adult clothes. A pair of pants ripped or not are $8. And I can go to a discount store to get brand new pants for just $11. Not much of a deal for our local good will =[

I bought a Columbia coat with a zip out liner for $16.  It's my favorite color, periwinkle, too!

Ooh, I wish I could find a jacket for me!  I almost bought a new rain jacket for spring at the box club today!

My goodwill is very nice quality, so I don't mind spending a little bit more.  I can always find columbia, duluth trading, lands end, so I don't mind paying a little more for them.  I prefer to spend less time looking for a good deal, for me it's worth it to spend a lot less time and a little bit more money.  But honestly, at the salvo a sweater is going to be $5 or $6 so it's not really that much cheaper than the goodwill unless I am feeling up to facing the crowds for 50% off family day.
