I have to give an "informative" speech for my speech class and was thinking of doing it on vaccinations. Â I have about 6min to speak, and it needs to be informative vs. persuasive. Â My audience includes college students that are fresh out of high school, as well as some older adults returning to school. Â I know a couple of the students work at a daycare, and several have children (all ages). Â
Â
Does anyone have ideas on how I should approach this topic and whats important to focus on? Â Â
Â
I know when my ds was born, a family friend visited him when he was just a couple days old and said "have you heard all that stuff about vaccinations? Â You should look into that" Â (this is all he said), Â I started researching and decided not to vax my ds at all. Â So I think a big part of it is just letting people know that they need to think about it and do a little research and decide, instead of just vaccinating because 'you are supposed to' or 'the pedi said to". Â Â
Â
I think its something that a lot of people dont even think about one way or another, they just do it. Â So for m speech I just want to give some info that makes people think about it and want to look into it more. Â
