Didn't wake up

I cosleep with my 3 year old and 6 week old. last night my 6 weeks old woke up and SCREAMED for a couple minutes. I didn't wake up. My husband shook me. I didn't wake up. (He thought I was dead). Then shook me again. I woke up. I am usually very aware cosleeping....this is my third child.....should I not be sleeping with them? I didn't know I went into this deep of sleep before.....

Have you been oveertired lately (more than being mom of a 6 week old implies)? Is there anything you can think of that caused you to sleep so deeply? Any new OTC meds or herbal remedies? You should look to see if there was a cause...

Your post in the main page caught my eye.  I am co-sleeping with my fourth and I was sleeping so hard the other night that when she woke up crying, I was completely out of it.  All I could think was "make it stop."  I was afraid I was going to hurt her, and I couldn't think clearly.  It really, really shook me up.  And, I wasn't any more than very, very tired.  So, I don't know.  I guess more sleep all around.
