I'm not good at writing birth stories but here's I go for it.

Friday morning, I had my m/w appt. As some knows, I was being seen by the ob too because of the possibility of having a “big” baby as my fundus height was about 3cm bigger than it should be for each wk of pgcy. For me it started at 20wks, measuring 23wks, etc... So the m/w and I decided to strip my membranes and see if that was going to help start labor or not. I had cramps that day but nothing major and that night, i have contrax. They weren't strong or painful. I decided to go to bed and they went away. The next day, Saturday, I lost my mucus plug and had bloody show. :) But no contrax.

On Sunday night, I went to bed ready to meet the ob on Monday morning to discuss the latest u/s results and see what she wanted to do. I woke up on Monday morning at 1:30am with a contraction. I was like hmm is this the real thing? I waited a bit before getting up. I started to time them and they were about 8-12min apart and they hurt! At about 3am, I woke up dh and told him that it was time for him to be coach and time the length of the contractions. Lol He almost didn't get up until i told him again to get up again. I guess he didn't believe me but he was super tired. He got up and started to time them. About 1min in length. Still about 7-10min apart or less.

I got dh to makes the school lunches for the girls. He was having a hard time concentrating, he was still kinda sleeping on his feet. Lol At 3:15ish I called my m/w and told her that I was having contractions and we decided that it was time to go to the hospital. She said she would meet us there. I called my mom at about 3:45am and she got there in like 10min. We left for the hospital and we arrived at the same time as my m/w, 4:30am. Around 4:45-5am, she checked me and I was already at a 7cm. :D

I tried to find a position to be comfy but didn't find anything. Being on my back or left side was the most comfy position for me. At 6am, she checked me and I was fully dilated and effaced. She told me that I had a bag of water and that if I felt like it, i could push and then I could start pushing for the baby. I push for 15min or so and He was born at 6:32am. I got to picked him up and put him on my belly. I got to say that it was a BOY!!!!!

He's so beautiful. He looks like his two “youngest” older sisters, DD2 and DD3. He was alert but had his eyes closed. He was nicely pink and breathe well. :) After a while, he did nurse. After about 2hrs, we went to the nursery to get him weight and measure. He weighs 9lbs6oz and measures 20in. My biggest baby. Lol

He's a bit of a sleepy baby but he's doing great!

As much as I want to, I can't. The hospital blocked fb and any photo sharing sites. So we all wait for when I get home and then I can post pics. :)
