Any RN's or Student nurses that have felt a little like OB is the most challenging class just because you know your own opinions don't match the rest of the class's?  I was sitting in there today, and a bunch of people said they hoped to 'get to' see a C-section during this rotation and I'm sitting there thinking, "What?!"  I have NO interest in seeing a C-section, especially if it's a scheduled one, like it sounds like will be the most likely ones we'd see.  I just know that I definitely have my own ideas how childbirth should and can be experienced, and I don't think most people in this class see eye to eye on this.  I'm just feeling a little bummed.  It's the first day of this class and I think it's going to kind of suck being so full of these opinions and not be able to express them without feeling like I'll get some weird and mean stares..

Anyone out there relate to this?
