Mucus plug/bloody show question?

So can someone tell me the difference? This is my third baby you'd think I'd know but I'm having trouble deciding whats coming out!

On Monday I had a vaginal exam and had some bloody mucus that day, no bid deal thats normal. Tuesday same thing, but then I think I passed my plug that night because (sorry TMI) I had a huge *lump* of bloody mucus.

Now today I had some bloody stuff. I would have thought it wouldn't be the plug since I passed such a large ammount on Tuesday, but how do I know which is which??

So I had bloody mucus all day Moday and Tuesday, nothing Wednesday then more this morning (Thursday). I'm not sure if it's bloody show now or what?

Your body will make more mucous as you lose some until the time is ripe for you to go into labor.

So how exactly is bloody show different than the bloody mucus?

Technically you could lose your plug over a several day period.Sometimes it regenerates itself.You could be having bloody show along with the mucous which is normal.I had it a few weeks before i gave birth.Good luck!
