Night Diapering in a COLD house

I've been using a Bamboozle, with hemp doubler and stay-dry lining doubler (fleece with flannel usually), with a PUL cover, WITH the SBish knit longies over the whole thing.  It just seems so bulky.  What does everyone else do?  (tonight i have him in the aristocrats with leggings on b/c our SBish longies are air drying...which will take days probably)

He sleeps with me for most of the night, but spends some of the night in the pack n play next to our bed, so i need him to be warm...our house is so drafty and cold and old.

Well, it sounds fine to me. I think night diapers just are bulky. Personally I've been using a dream-eaze fitted with a trifold hemp liner folded in half in the heavy wetting section, then I put a fleece cover over that and a pair of pants over that. I could put fleece pajama pants but I don't usually bother. - Just leave my kids in their comfy day clothes usually.

I'm the queen of bulky night-time dipe, what you have there doesnt sound that bulky. My DS' night-time dipe as over an inch thick in the wet zone.

As for keeping him warm, wool does the trick. A wool l/s tee and longies and wool socks under a blanket sleeper, to be exact.

Usually a Mother-Ease bamboo fitted with a bone-shaped hemp doubler, and a wool cover, usually Aristocrats. Relatively bulky, but it does the trick.

Very very cold rental house in NW Iowa here ... my son co-sleeps but spends part of the night not snuggled up to me.

We have been using a medium sized flat and a hemp doubler from GMD, pad folded in a Flip cover.  It's very trim, and at almost 10 months old, still usually half dry in the morning (after he wears it for 10-12 hours).

Then I always layer his jammies:  usually a onesie and footie pajamas.  Short sleeve onesie under fleece pajamas, long sleeve under cotton.  And I tuck him under a down comforter that I use all year, but only up to his waist.

Our heat goes to 50 at night, I'm doubt it actually gets that cold since our winters are mild (40s during the day, upper 30s at night). But, DS wears a prefold with a doubler, and either a PUL cover or a wool cover. His PJs are a fleece carter's sleepersuit with cotton separates underneath. He is in a crib (22mo) with a quilt that is sometimes on, sometimes not.
