I have a party planed in near future and I thought to buy the same dresses for both my girls -

its a person choice to dress them alike or not, how old are they and do they normally dress alike? if hey are older, have you asked them ?

some folks will buy the same outfit in two different colors to match but not be exactly the same

I didn't like being dressed like my sister when we were younger. We are 16mths apart. But we were old enough to have an opinion about it. I plan to dress my girls alike unti they complain about it. Then they are free to wear different things.

It's up to you!  My girls are only 9 weeks old, but for now, we often dress them alike (same style but different colours, etc.) but not exactly the same.  As they get older, I plan to let them decide.
