Vaccine-friendly doctor in Ottawa?

I'm wondering if anyone has a vaccine-friendly doctor in Ottawa? My second son had a bad reaction to vaccines, which has made me question my choice to vaccinate my children. I have since done a lot of research and am looking for a doctor who would respect my choice not to vaccinate my baby girl. My pediatrician just gave me a book and told me how guilty I'd feel if my kids got a vaccine-preventable disease and paid no heed to my concerns over my son's immune problems...

The problem with pediatricians is they see all the worse cases, you'd probably have better luck with a family doctor.

If you're in the catchment area for the Somerset West Community Health Centre, you may want to put your name on the waiting list. My doctor is there and she's never given me a hard time about not vaccinating. Google them to see if you qualify (I think you have to live or work in the area and the whole family qualifies if this apply).

There are a few other moms here who have a family doctor there. I like that should I need it, they have a whole range of services.

Hi, did you have any luck finding one?  I knew I would have trouble finding a pedi who was vaccine friendly so I took my daughter to my GP.  sure she tried pushing the vaccs but I stood firm and she my decision.  Her name is Dr. Gabriella Lewin and she's at the Kemptville clinic.  I dont know if she's still accepting patients though.

We see Dr. Gina Wong in Bells Corners & she's fabulous - has had no problem with our decisions to opt out of some & to change timing of others. I don't know if that clinic is accepting new patients or not.
