We don't talk much IRL about our kids, but I thought I'd share here. We're going to hear Edward Amend, one of the authors of Parent's Guide to Gifted Children, speak at the end of the month. I knew he had offices near here and would love to get an eval for DS there, but I'm really excited we'll be able to go. It's a small intimate setting, and he's discussing motivation issues in school, particularly related to gifted children.
