We were asked by friends to adopt their newborn, and she will be moving in any day.
We are proceeding with getting set up for a home study through CSS, and I have a question regarding an issue in our house.
The previous owners built it with one official bedroom, but set up the extra living room so it would just need a door added.
Also, the half open loft just needs the half wall extended up, and a door framed in.
With adopting a newborn, will the home study find that we must have the second bedroom fully prepared before approval, or will blueprints and plans be enough?
The master bedroom is large, and we will have the pack n play all set up with the bassinet in place for the beginning stages.
We fully intend to have her sleep in there for the first year or so.
