This is a question for parents of late teething babies/toddlers. By late teething i mean like first tooth after 11 months. My DD is almost 13 months and has no teeth. I can see them both on top and on the bottom through her gums pretty well so i KNOW there are teeth in there haha. So we have been anxiously waiting to see how terrible teething is going to be (will it beat colic? GOD FORBID) so i wanna hear what it has been like for late teethers, good or bad. I need to be prepared. And i'm curious, since she has so much catching up to do will a bunch of them all come at once? At what ages did your babies get what teeth? TIA!

My DD is pretty slow, she got her first teeth around 10 months and still at almost 2 is just working on her canines. Teething seems to have been easier on her than her friends who got teeth earlier, I think because she's older and can deal with change and discomfort better. Plus she can talk to tell us her teeth hurt, so we know why she's upset sometimes. That makes it much easier for the parent~!

My son didn't get his first teeth until he was 11 months old...and they came in several at once and FAST! Within a month he had 4 new teeth and two weeks later he had 7 total. It was no fun. He's not a good teether (we always have advil in the house) but he teethes fast so it's not THAT bad.
