Revisiting old Thread "What to do with Leftover vials of Donor sperm"

Included link cuz Im about a year behind this and am interested in finding out if anyone knows source to get information about investigating the use of donor sperm that  formerly ttc'ers are not intending to use.  It seems horrible I know but I just found out my situation (needing infertility tx) and hadnt prepared for the immediate upfront costs (cuz I never thought it would be me..Im a genius, huh?)  Single and have to use Donor sperm and just trying to figure out a way to approach.  Not approved for Insurance, so trying to see how I can manage this.

Any suggestions etc welcome.

It's worth calling your local fertility clinic and asking if they have a "leftovers" bank that are available for free. I've heard (though never accessed) that many do.
