Help - just found out I'm pregnant with TWINS!

My feelings go between and , I never thought it would happen to me! EEEEK!!! This would be #7 and #8 for us. I guess I don't know what to do! I'm still trying to find a doctor, as DH will not let me have a homebirth with twins. A singleton, yes, but not twins, and I agree, there's too much at stake. There's not a lot to choose from, as we are in a very rural area.

Any advice for me?? I didn't know if I should post this here, or in the multiples forum, since that's more about after their born. I'd love any good book recommendations, too!

Wow - congrats! No advice, as I haven't BTDT - although my MW did suspect twins for a few weeks with this pregnancy, and it was.... emotionally interesting, to say the least! Could you check Finding My Tribe for midwives/doctors in your area?

Congratulations! My first pregnancy was twins, lots of unnecessary intervention. For me if we had twins again I would stay home. I'd ask at the multiples forum, there could be a mama there near you w/ a good OB suggestion.

Congrats! Hey if you already have 6, there isn't a lot of advice you dont already know. My first were twins, but I didn't know enough to get freaked out back then. As long as there are some hands big enough to help out, you should have lots of fun. Bless you mama!

Wow, Congrats!!!!  I think with all your heartache TTC, you deserve two precious babies!

No advice, just couldn't read w/o posting.

Thank you so much! My older children will definitely be a big help, I have teenagers & pre-teens who are already a tremendous help to me. My youngest will be nearly 5 years old when the babies come.
