Who's watching?

Yes!

I don't want to but I will...  I sense a train wreck.

Yup.  I'll be watching, when hubby's not around that is.

I'll be watching it too but a day delayed.  I'm really curious to see how Robyn fits in with the family...

omg...I'm  strangely fascinated by this show. I love all the personalities.  I can't wait to see what happens.

I'll DVR it. I'm looking forward to it especially to see how Robin blends in with the family.

Anyone watching right now? At least Robyn hasn't cried, yet!

I am! I am!

I find the David's Bridal commercial oddly hilarious.

She left the baby at home when she went to NY?  Seriously?

Truely was at home with her grandmas and sisters.  I thought it was ok.  I doubt there was a way she could have taken her to NYC.

The thing that bothered me was the rules about photographing the kids.  They put the kids on film but they don't want the press taking pictures of them?  Seems strange.  They invited the press into their lives when they decided to do a TV show on TLC.  Had they not heard of Jon and Kate and what happens with Kate and the kids?

The whole "we don't like the paparazzi" thing is pretty stupid.  If you didn't want the attention, why put yourself out there?  I also don't understand why they would move their kids to a public school at the exact time they are exposing themselves on national television as polygamists.  Why not just leave the kids in the school they've always attended?  Or homeschool them again?  DH thinks it's just a publicity stunt, which if it is makes me sick.

I didn't see a problem leaving Truely with the grandma for a couple days.  It's not like the grandma doesn't have ample help around.  Many of those kids are older and look fairly responsible.

I was thinking the same thing when I was watching! When Meri started crying, I knew it was all downhill from there, lol!

I also don't get why they're putting the kids in public school at this time. Especially knowing how they'll be treated. School is hard enough these days (socially, I mean) without having that added stress.

I didn't get the public school either unless they wanted to make a statement that they had nothing to hide and their kids were normal. However, that's at the expense of the kids I think. I say too much change all at once is gonna be really hard on all of them. It seems like Robyn's kids had gone to public school before, didn't seem like a huge deal for her or them.

Re: the paparazzi I think it's a little different than doing TLC. They've agreed to have them in their lives, I imagine there are only certain filming hours and I'm sure there is a contract and they feel like they have some control. You don't get that with the other folks *but* I agree they should've known that was going to happen!

i was kind of surprised that most of the kids were in private schools previously... that must have been pretty expensive.

It was a private church school for the children of polygamy.  The people of their church made the school a few years ago.
