Welcome, Baby Boy

Hi Mamas-

This is only thread Ive posted to throughout my pregnancy.  I never felt comfortable posting to a due date club after my miscarriage, but this forum felt like home.

So...my son was born on 5 February 2011, 4 days post due date.  I am 41 y.o., almost 42.

It took me a few tries to get pregnant, and one of the hardest things was resisting succumbing to the dismal statistics about pregnancy over 40.  

I wanted to share the news of my son's birth because when I was trying, every story about someone successfully giving birth over 40..egads, over 41...gave me hope.  

I hope I give you some hope.
