Not his fault since it's been going around their school but still.... yuck!  Now I'm itchy and paranoid that I have it.

I can just imagine telling the guy I'm seeing tomorrow... "um, you know how you were at my house the other day?  Well... you might want to check your head for lice"... not a good way to start a relationship with a younger, kid-free guy.

LOL - i feel your pain! Looooooong ago when i was a single mother - my daughter was in kindergarten and got lice -  She and her 3 yr. old brother and i all slept in the same bed together - i was TERRIFIED i would get them.  My son did , but i didnt.  Enjoy your frequent shampoos!

i have read that diatomaceous earth works on lice, as does extensive oil treatment just to smother them (olive oil, etc).  of course, when i got them in college i just shaved my head.
