Anyone have experience putting three across in a Toyota Rav4?

Well, the title sums it up.  We don't have the money for a minivan so we were hoping there would be a way to get all three into our car.  I am going to measure the back and see what I come up with, but just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone has any info.

Thanks!

What seats do you currently own?  What are the ages, heights and weights of your kids, and are they rear- or forward- facing?  That will help figure out a good arrangement :)

And what year is the car? After2008, Toyota made the seatbelt behind the driver's side and the middle overlap so I think 3 across may be impossible in the newer Ravs.

I have a '02 Rav4, it is technically only a 4 seater vehicle. Due to the way the seat belts are arranged in the back seat, the middle and drivers side can not be used at the same time. I was not aware of this when we bought it and am very disappointed in this fact! But check your manual, maybe different years vary.
