There absolutely is no problem with having sex and letting him ejaculate inside. Your OB or midwife will only recommend against intercourse if you have certain risk factors in your history, like preterm labour. Otherwise, it is very healthy to be sexually active throughout pregnancy, as long as you feel like it.

As for the crampiness, it may just be due to the position and increased size of your uterus. Some women feel kind of a light period cramp in early pregnancy, I did. Also, the pregnancy hormones can make your cervix more soft and sensitive, which can cause spotting and tenderness. If this happens, you may want to try different positions or go slow, to prevent deeper  penetration. This is purely for comfort though, your baby is safe.

I would only be concerned if you had cramping that got worse or didn't go away, and had bleeding that was more than spotting and not after sex. But of course, call your doc or mw if you're worried.

Did you orgasm?

Female orgasm can cause harmless cramping and contractions of the uterus..nothing to worry about unless your doctor has told you your at risk for preterm labor and thats normally not a concern until much much later into pregnancy.
