Toddler coughing with lots of phlegm

I need some advice, my 19 months old caught a cold a couple of weeks ago. She got better but it never went away a 100% and then a few days ago she started coughing. She has a really wet cough and a runny nose and i'm not sure what to give her. I really want to avoid antibiotics if I can, but if she doesn't get better by Monday, I'll definitely take her to her doc and I think that they'll advise us to get her some...any ideas of homeopathics or anything else that I could try??

Sodium ascorbate, chickweed extract or chickweed tea, kali bichromium, antimonium tartaricum?

Just a few ideas. Sodium ascorbate would be for the immune boosting/infection fighting aspect, chickweed for dissolving mucus, and the homeopathics are two common ones for a wet cough -- although with homeopathics you need to match symptoms very exactly in order for it to work. You can look around online for symptom-matching help with the homeopathics.

Good luck! And the doc should only prescribe antibiotics if there's an ongoing infection in the lungs. A simple wet cough isn't enough to justify antibiotics, in my experience.
