i use a mixture of pre-folds and covers, and some flannel fitteds that i made. my dd is a really heavy wetter and although i don't have leakage problems, even if i change her every 1.5 hours the diaper is still soaked. i don't like her sitting with all the wetness against her skin and i can't imagine it being comfortable. i know how gross my cotton clothes feel when they get wet somehow, so i can't imagine that being against my sensitive areas. i need ideas on making a stay-dry liner that i can lay into the diaper to keep the wetness off of dd's skin. i have a few microfiber bumgenius dubblers, but the microfiber is only slightly better than the cotton as far as feeling wet and gross. i've seen fleece liners for sale as a stay-dry option, but with as much as dd pees i'm wondering if they would be too water repellent and cause leaking. has anyone made/used fleece liners? are there other fabrics that work well? i don't want to make a bunch and then find out that i've wasted my fabric.

has anyone made/used fleece stay-dry liners?
Neither of my kids have been super heavy wetters, so I'm not sure how well what we've done would hold up with your daughter. I have used just thinner fleece cut up and laid in the diaper. I also have some flannel pocket diapers where the inside layer is a thin layer of polyester. So suedecloth, and pretty much anything else that was thin, 100% polyester from the red tag clearance at JoAnn's. The diapers with the whole inner of polyester stay dry for us, or maybe a slight damp, but not soaking.   Poop falls off the thin polyester (and fleece) very nicely :)
First off it sounds like you need more absorbency.
Fleece liners work great. I bought some cheap fleece from my local Walmart and cut out contour shapes.
I used these and just lay them into my daughters diapers.
They worked great for keeping the damp away from her skin and also made poop disposal easier.
The poop just flops off the fleece.
