Almost done nursing, considering vax.

I am so torn with Vx. I have done so much research, but at the end of the day I am still so scared! Scared of health, scared of reactions!

But now my supply keeps dropping and I have tried everything to boost, but nothing is working. Now, at 8 mths, she is refusing every time, and crying at the breast every time we nurse. The "shield" dd once had with my milk will not be there anymore! 

I wanted to bf beyond infancy. Anyways, it has me nervous about her immunity.

It is so hard being a mommy sometimes!

Sorry you are having trouble with the BF....have you tried fenugreek?

As for vaccinating, I don't know that BF would factor into my choices. I think after much research I came to the conclusions that vaccines damage health, not enhance it. This would be true whether or not I BF. Perhaps the BF may give you a sense of comfort, but at the end of the day, it's no guarnantee. BF babies can get VPD's too.

I can relate to your fear and know it is very hard making these important choices for your child. Just do your research and make the best choice you can based on what you discover - whether or not you continue to BF shouldn't be what sways tou one way or the other IMO.

Remember, your milk didn't only protect your dd during the time she nursed. You helped her to build a strong immune system that will last her a lifetime!
