Our diaper sprayer broke so we used disposables for a few weeks. Â I tried making a go without the sprayer, but no thanks. Â Anyhow, we got the part we needed and the sprayer works. Â So back to the cloth diapers, right?
Wrong. DH is basically refusing to use the cloth on our toddler (we did not get into it about the baby). Â Said that disposables work better (no leaks) and you don't have to change as often. Â Yes, true. Â So what? Â We didn't decide to go cloth because we thought they would be better diapers - we went cloth due to environmental concerns. Â Plus, it's not like he does the laundry! Â So the clothes that get leaked on and the diapers themselves - I'm the one that deals with them. Â All he has to do is change them. Â
Â
I'm annoyed. Â The cloth decision was a joint one. Â
Â
So now I am stuck with either (1) doing all the diaper changes (2) having DS in cloth sometimes, disposables other times and messing with laundry schedule, or (3) giving in and going disposables.
Â
It's not like I don't want to go to disposables, too. Â It's so much easier to just throw a diaper out than to deal with it. Â But we made a commitment, and these choices are part of our value system. Â Or so I thought. Â
