This is a tricky age because the fixed ball tracks with the big balls are designed for younger kids and the ones like Haba or Quadrilla require too much skill. Our preschool has the model however and it is terrific. You can get it with larger wooden balls or a lot of marbles. Our school has two sizes ones in colors and one natural. Pretty too.

They also have this one which isn't very attractive (to me) but is very popular and allows a lot of self-expression. Cheaper too.

This one is the first thing I thought of. There are other similar brands, and they are always a hit... even for many older kids!

We have and like the Haba Ball Track linked above as well as the Selecta Variola ball track which is no longer imported. Our 18m loves both but I would probably choose a marble version for a child who was already 2. The Selecta one is great but it requires more skill to set up than you would think and it is more about building than than watching.
