Family doctor or ped south of Pittsburgh?

So I'm due in less than a month and I still need to find a pediatrician or family doctor for our new baby! We are planning to delay certain vaccinations and possibly avoid others, and in my extensive internet research I haven't been able to find any suggestions for doctors anywhere near us that have a reputation for being flexible with vaccinations. We are about half an hour south of Pittsburgh, near Canonsburg.

Before I start randomly calling doctors, I just thought I'd try asking here. This might be a long shot, but I would REALLY appreciate any suggestions!

So I'm answering my own question, just in case someone else comes across this in the future while looking for the same info. :)

Someone on another website recommended Dr. Amy Gosling with Pediatrics South, which has offices in McMurray and Mt. Lebanon. I just called and talked to them... they said that Dr. Gosling is kinda hard to get appointments with, but that all of their pediatricians are willing to accommodate alternative vaccination schedules. I'm so relieved! I've just heard so many stories of people getting "fired" as patients if they didn't follow the schedule exactly. So I think this is a good start!

Hi. We go to Pediatrics South and see Dr. Scott Tyson. He is very open to alternative vax schedules/no vaxing. He says he recommends all vaccines, but he does not push you either way. Also, don't know about the other docs in the practice, but Dr. Tyson does not make us sign the 'refusal to vaccinate' form....which has an incriminating section to it that many parents oppose.

We haven't been there much, only for well child check ups and I think one other time for an illness, but in all cases, we have always been treated well. HTH

Can anyone recommend a good physician for me, a mother? I live near the South Hills in Rosslyn Farms. My kids use and love Pediatrics South.
