I have had terrible experiences with the Billy furniture system! I don't know why, but every piece that we have had, has fallen apart or at least broken.---- we do move a lot, so I"m always blaming this as to why I have to make all of our furniture look "shabby chic" to cover up all the dings and scratches!

LOL, we don't actually have any Billy.

 

We have 4 Expedit bookshelves that have been in use for years (games, books, toys):
