Polyps

I might have these or one.  I've been spotting on and off for the past month.  We had an excellent ultrasound when I first started (and I was gushing red blood).  I started spotting again and went to hear the heartbeat and everything was fine.  I'm going to ask the midwife to check if there is anything on my appt on Thursday. 

In the meantime, has anyone gone through this before?

I had some polyps on my cervix with my 2nd pregnancy and spotted after intercourse or an internal u/s and a horrible OB removed them causing an severe reaction that made my cervix become burned and it started to shed and big chunks of my cervix skin came out of me.  So I don't advise that if you do have them.  My reg OB said never to remove them while pregnant.   Good luck I hope they don't cause you much trouble.

I thought I might have had one too (I felt it while checking my cervix) I asked the MW about it at a yearly, and she said it was a cyst and nothing to worry about.

Do ask your M/W and if it is polyps or cysts, they can remove them, but I bet they wait until after birth at your checkup. They don't really do much. Just annoy you :)

But it could be something like previa or another issue with your cervix that they would want to know about.
