Traveling without daughter who breastfeeds

Hello.  My daughter is about to turn 1 this month.  Skip ahead 2 months and I am going to a friends wedding in Florida by myself for 4 nights/ 5 days.  We currently co-sleep and she nurses a lot through the night and during the day.

I am with her all day as I the teacher in her Montessori classroom so I don't get to pump.

I seriously doubt she will be anywhere close to weaned in two months (night or day) so can anyone offer suggestions of how to make this work during the day and night (my husband will be with her)?

Thank you so much!

You should have your DH try giving her milk or whatever you are planning on him giving her when he's alone with her. You could start pumping and try to have some expressed milk. It will work better if your DH sets an alarm and wakes up to feed her right before she would usually wake for a nursing session. Also she might want to nurse constantly when you get back or she might have a nursing strike or just be really demanding.

I and my 5 year old DD stayed with my older DD's two girls for about a week. The youngest was 10 months old and still nursing a lot. My DD at least knew when her baby usually woke so I could set an alarm and feed her while she was still mostly asleep. My granddaughter was fussy and demanding when my DD got back and then a week later on a nursing strike for a few days. But things got back to normal.
