5mth old making Mom sick with lack of sleep?

My 5 mth old son for the past month has barely slept. I know we have his first 2 teeth, he learned to roll over and over, he's sitting up and barely puts together an hour here and there. We are both exhausted and to the point I hold him and he just screams and screams since he can't sleep. I'm so exhausted I can barely move, my body aches, I'm nausaus, I've been getting migraines. I thought maybe number 3 might be on the way, but 2 sticks later and nothing. My daughter never slept so I'm kind of used to it but I don't know what else to try with him. He was so bad 10 days ago we swaddled him, which he hated at birth, but he didn't mind for about a week and he was able to get a little sleep and just stop trembling. He will sleep in the car, but with an autistic 3 year old and not sleeping I can't drive him around for hours. Anything that can help? I need more energy and he was great from birth to 3.5 months. We also have tried him in bed with us and in his crib in our room and he normally prefers the crib, if anyone moves it sets off his screaming again.

I hear ya mama- I have a 5 month old whose sleep patterns go from ok to terrible to good to horrible.  This is a terrible week but I'm hoping we'll turn it around.  Do you have a partner who can help with some of the night-time parenting so that you can get more sleep?  Can you nap when your baby naps?  Some things that have worked for us (and may or may not work for you) include feeding a bottle at bedtime (so he eats more and doesn't wake as soon), white noise, swaddling, having a "lovey" stuffed toy that is a sleepy time indicator, calm warm baths, reading books, dimming the lights in the whole house to signal bedtime, always feeding in the same place just before bedtime-- stuff that creates a routine.  Giving a cooled teether just before nursing gets him to eat more which means a longer sleep, too.  And checking the temperature of h

Is he hurting with the teeth cutting? Have you tried Tylenol or ibuprofen? Or an amber teething necklace?

He's had his amber teething necklace on since he cut his first 2 teeth in Feb. He doesn't appear to be working on the top 2 but I don't know. He's awfully clingy all of a sudden too. He was screaming all afternoon again. I almost think it seems more reflux like but niether his ped or the GI I took him to want to put him on anything.

Hubby tries to help but has to get up and leave for work by 4 so he's not a big help during the week. If he would just let me nurse him lying down I think this would be easier.

Yeah he slept a few hours last night between the screaming. Hubby and I traded him off last night and a few hours was nice. Hopefully we get back to something that works for both of us!
