And we are so excited! We are applying to CHI to adopt from Ethiopia (yes, amid all the craziness and slowdowns we still feel it's the right fit for us). 

We are also keeping in touch with a local crisis pregnancy center because they do 5-10 adoptions a year and occasionally they have an expectant mom come in who they don't have a family to match them with because of race.  :(  So, our social worker knows that we would be willing to take a baby in at any time if a family couldn't be found to match her with.
