mazda 5 and 3 rf-ing seats?

Is it possible to get three rf-ing seats in a Mazda 5?  I only have two kids, but I'll be doing preschool pick up for 2 more kids next week.  One is in a booster so I'll have 3 rf-ing and a booster.  I don't know f you can do that in the third row though.  I could put my DD1 (2.5) forward facing, but Id rather not.

I think it would be possible; you'd likely have to load one or two kids from the back, though.  It is easier than it sounds.

Anyone who owns a Mazda5 want to chime in?  You ladies could save me hours of frustration Sunday night when I try this.

I haven't tried putting 3 all rf in the 5, but I have found it easy to get a kiddo through the rear hatch. I don't think that will be a problem. Honestly, the biggest problem is likely to be getting the car seats installed in the 3rd row. Can you install them once and then leave them there for the week or however long you need to do it?

If so, I would probably put two rf seats in the 3rd row and hatch load those kids. Then I would put the other rf seat and the booster in the 2nd row. When I've had a booster kiddo riding in the car, the second row install seems to interfere less with visibility than the 3rd, plus it's easier to put rf kids through the hatch than a ff one.

There is a picture at car-seat.org of 4 rearfacing kids in a 5. :)  It's very, very doable.

I have a Mazda5...it's doable, but it depends on the carseats.  The 3rd row has smaller seats, so you have to make sure you can get the carseat appropriately on the seat--some carseats are really really specific about positioning.  Also, with 3 RFing, it will be difficult for anyone in the front seat.  If you are short, it might not be a problem.  But, I'm only 5' tall, and my knees were in the dash if there was a RFing seat in the seat behind me.  Loading from the hatch isn't a big deal.  But you really have to know your carseat and the manual--some carseats won't allow for it to be resting on the seat in front of it, etc.
