Your favorite water toys ever?!

Give me your good water toys!

Right now dd's enjoying a beer brewing bucket (with supervision, & despite the warning label) and a plastic pitcher.  She also uses a tin cup.  If anyone happens to be in a sinking boat, give us a call-- we've got a master bailer of water here...

However, it would be nice to have 'real' toys for the tub and the blow up pool we're considering.  We can't keep her out of the water!  What else can we give her to play with?

Water can

little people or animals, Duplo Lego are generally bath safe, only the hollow ones that don't trap water

all of the bath paints have stained are bathroom so I'd say no to those, even though the kids love them

My mom got us this Yookidoo bath toy for Christmas and DD plays with it EVERYDAY in the tub and still absolutely loves it.  It has a bunch of boats and stuff that stacks and sprays water.   The only thing that was a little wierd at first is it has batteries....

We also have letters that stick to the side of the tub, a couple cups, and washcloths...who knew those would make great toys :)

Green Toys makes a boat my son loves. Really inexpensive on Amazon lately.

Soap pump. just a leftover and he loves it.

Crayola bath crayons. Far less $ at target. http://www.amazon.com/Crayola-Bathtub-Crayons/dp/B00124WW5Y/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1300384521&sr=8-3. My son will sit down in the bath at the mention of taking away his crayons.

Any other toys that that you can fully drain. Last night the playmobile horses had a bath.

I hung a mesh laundry bag from one of the shower curtain hooks and throw everything in there to drain/store.

We also use 7th Gen dish detergent as bubble bath. He loves it, I love the $ and no one gets itchy. It also does a great job of keeping the tub clean.
