feeling baby's head internally...

I have had lots of lower pressure lately, so this morning I checked myself internally, and about 3-4 cm inside (up to my first knuckle) I could feel the baby's head!  Not through my cervix (which seems to be high still, but about 2 finger tips dilated), but through the vaginal wall...

Anyone know what station this might be?  I am 35 weeks tomorrow...

I remember feeling my 1st daughters head this way while inserting an EPO capsule. I don't recall what week I was in, but much closer to EDD than you are.

My daughter was just like that from at least 35 weeks on.  She was born at 41.  Her head was essentially in front of my cervix and my cervix was nice and high.  She was sunny side up (and born that way), which might have been a reason.  I remember feeling like she was going to fall out.  My midwife told me at the time that she was not in an ideal position for birth and not putting any pressure on my cervix, so that is probably why I didn't go into labor sooner.  Who knows, though.

I have felt my last several baby's heads a around 34 weeks plus IIRC.
