OBs in Central Illinois

I'm looking for a natural birth-friendly OB in Central Illinois. We live in Champaign, but I'm willing to drive if needed - anywhere within 50-60 miles would probably be fine. Actually, I wouldn't mind driving further for prenatal visits if the doctor delivered at a hospital that was within an hour (or so's) drive.

I have someone I like here in town, but found out today that her practice has recently switched to "team care" where I'd be rotated through the other doctors in the practice, then delivered by whoever was on call. It's a big practice - 8 docs, I think - I like her, and there's someone else that I hear is great...but there's 2 others I don't like, and I don't know much at all about the other 4. Too much of a crap shoot for my liking, TBH. Also, they're overbooked - I've had a hard time getting test results in a timely manner, and scheduling appointments is frustrating.

Carle doctors are out (insurance). A CNM delivered my DS, but since I had Gestational Diabetes and ended up having to consult with a doctor anyway, I felt like it'd be better if I just established care with a doctor I liked from the start this time.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with either Dr. Patience Adesida or Dr. Maria Horvat (both in Champaign) - these two come up on the list of those who take my insurance, but I don't know anyone who's seen them (and neither does my doula).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ETA - a family practice doc who catches babies would be great too!

I can try asking my ICAN group.  I only know personally about the OB's in Bloomington.  I would be happy to give you info on those if you would like.  :)

Christy - we're leaning towards sticking with the CNMs that delivered my DS, but if you know of any great OBs in Bloomington (or ones to stay away from) I'd love to hear about them! I'll send you a PM.
