Her honesty is amazing, and my heart breaks for her family.

The paragraph that really caught my attention was about the consent forms that doctors gave the family, likening it to the warnings on a drug.  Nowadays, I read and research all drugs, but I didn't always.  I can completely understand the line of thinking that this family had at the time.  

This is why "parental choice" is a load of baloney.  More doctors need to stop performing this procedure, and take a stand against it.

Wow.  Heartbreaking for sure.  The hardest part for me was the doctors told the parents to leave the building and they did.  But then her Mommy instincts kicked in, only it was too late.
