We use the arm's reach co-sleeper as a stand alone bassinet (I just cannot sleep for more than a few minutes if co-sleeping). She's been pulling herself up on her knees when she wakes up for about a week now. Since she's in a blanket sleeper I figured she wouldn't be able to get up on her feet. Well wasn't it fun to realize my mistake when I went in to nurse her at 2:30am.Â
Â
So I've just finished yanking apart the damn thing to get the liner out in order to take the support bars out so that I could lay the mattress on the bottom. Jeeze, what a pain! DD was thrilled to be crawling around the room in the middle of the night.
Â
I tried nursing her to sleep again, but when she's full she won't get back on. I put her in there and after some mild whining she's just thumping her legs up there. Sigh, I hope she doesn't wake the whole house.

So if you're wondering if you'll have to lower your crib mattress sometime soon, do it first thing in the morning!
