Anyone use Nitrous Oxcide during childbirth here in Germany?

Hello! I'm due in May, and I'm interested in hearing some women's experiences with using Nitrous Oxcide as a temporary pain reliever during childbirth. I have an appointment to talk to the midwives at the hospital about my birth plan in April, but I didn't get to ask whether this was available or not. Anyone have any information about this?

No, I don't think you stand a chance getting that here! As far as I know it's more or less unknown here, kind of like in the US (where it's only used in dentistry but not for birth).
