Anyone sleep while slingin'?

I often do! I walk dd to sleep and then lay down with her on my chest, still in sling. A little while later I'll wake up, unwrap her (I use a Simply Attached sling) and then try to roll her over next to me. Anyone else do something similar?

I have! When I've been really, really tired and the older two are playing nicely (not often) I've layed on my back and rested a little with him still in the sling. Oh so nice and cozy sweet! I also sometimes nap the baby in my bed inside of the sling with it kind of around him like a blanket etc. It looks really cute.

When Dev was super colicky, There were many nights where I wore her while rocking in the chair. I often fell asleep this way. Hell, many nights, it was the only way we were going to sleep. What a lifesaver.

Yep. i did this frequently with both my children. Both my boys have/had really bad reflux as babies. I'd put them in the sling chest to chest and fall asleep in the recliner. This way they were sleeping upright and i didn't have to worry about them falling or rolling off of me while we slept.

I just KNEW I couldn't be the only one! It's really been a lifesaver, esp. b/c she's my second and my 2 year old ain't gonna let me nap during the day!

Thanks for the compliment, mthomas. I see you're in AR. That's where my parents retired and where I graduated from HS. Batesville, a few hours east from you.

Anyway, I'm wearing dd now and should go lay down soon!

I did this quite a bit w/ DD when she was under 3 months old. Now when we're home I just lay down w/ her, though I've been known to doze on the bus while wearing her tummy to tummy in the Kozy!
