nursing & temping

Nursing mamas, do you find that your BBT temps are the same as before you were nursing, or do they change/does nursing affect them? I've been nursing for a year, and just checked my temp this morning out of curiosity, and it was lower than when I was charting and TTC (not nursing).

I did notice it was a bit lower but attributed it to hypothyroid but then someone pointed out to me that if you are taking an oral temp and you sleep with your mouth open the result is a lower temp.

You could try taking it vaginally and see how that helps, starting at the beginning of a new cycle.

HTH!
