The babies are here!

I'm so excited I just wanted to share. One of our goats just had her babies. I'm shaking I'm so excited! I can't believe we've gone from city living to baby goats in 7 months. Crazzzzy.

Congratulations!  I can hardly wait until my girls have their kids in May!

I have been wondering for a while, are you one of the ladies I know from AlbertaChickensEtc?  I know a couple of people there recommended this site, but I couldn't find the thread where they said that and said what their usernames are.  If not, you actually might want to check it out - it's not just Albertans, and it's not just chickens.  There's good information and good people there, and good resources for all things small-farm-related . . . and I find it helpful that it's a Canadian site.

Anyway, didn't mean to hijack, I just started wondering when I first saw your avatar.

Nice goats, I'm a little jealous of their big ears.  The buck I bred my girls to was a LaMancha, so I'll only have small-eared babies this year.

I've only posted once or twice on the Alberta board. I think my dh signed up there as well but don't know if he's posted. Our other goat is starting to look a little hollow today, hopefully more babies are coming!

They are sooooo cute! I just love them. Congratulations on those babies! I so wish that we were farming for real again. This makes me long for it even more. (We have to resettle first and all of that is up in the air right now). Your farm is just gorgeous!
